Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow.

Urbanisation has transformed cities worldwide over the past few decades. More and more people have moved from rural areas to urban centers in search of better opportunities. This rapid migration has created both exciting possibilities and serious challenges.

The main attraction of cities is economic opportunity. Urban areas offer more jobs, higher salaries, and better access to education and healthcare. For example, in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi have become major economic hubs. The more people move to these cities, the more diverse and dynamic they become. Young people, in particular, are drawn to cities because they want to pursue their careers and gain valuable work experience.

However, rapid urbanisation has created significant problems. The bigger cities grow, the more crowded they become. Traffic congestion has worsened dramatically, and many cities struggle with inadequate infrastructure. Although governments have invested in public transportation, the demand continues to exceed supply. Housing has become increasingly expensive, and many low-income workers cannot afford decent accommodation.

To address these challenges, cities need better urban planning. The more money invested in infrastructure, the better the quality of life will be. Governments should build affordable housing and improve public services. If cities can manage growth effectively, they will continue to be engines of economic development while maintaining livability for all residents.

What is the main idea of the passage?

A
Cities are perfect places
B
Urbanisation brings both opportunities and challenges
C
Everyone should move to cities
D
Rural life is better
