1Defining Relative Clauses with Who, Which, That
Cấu trúc:
Danh từ (ngưá»i) + who/that + V + O
Danh từ (váºt) + which/that + V + O
1. Who/That cho ngưá»i (chá»§ ngữ):
- Ex: The student who/that speaks English fluently will win the contest.
2. Which/That cho váºt (chá»§ ngữ):
- Ex: The language which/that is spoken worldwide is English.
3. Whom/That cho ngưá»i (tân ngữ) - có thể bá»:
- Ex: The woman (whom/that) I met yesterday is a teacher.
4. Which/That cho váºt (tân ngữ) - có thể bá»:
- Ex: The book (which/that) I borrowed is about World Englishes.
5. Whose chỉ sở hữu:
- Ex: The student whose essay won the prize is very talented.
6. Where chỉ nơi chốn:
- Ex: The country where English is an official language is India.
2Reduced Relative Clauses
