Sarah's Trip to Viet Nam
Last summer, I went on a trip to Viet Nam with my family. We flew to Ha Noi first. We visited Hoan Kiem Lake and the Temple of Literature, which is the first university in Viet Nam. Then we took a train to Da Nang. The train ride was amazing because we could see beautiful scenery along the way. In Da Nang, we stayed at a resort that had a private beach. We also visited Hoi An, where we walked through the ancient streets and bought souvenirs. Finally, we flew to Ho Chi Minh City, which was very modern and busy. We visited the War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh Market. The weather was hot but we had a wonderful time. I will never forget this trip!
2Writing: Write about a trip
Write a paragraph (80-100 words) about a trip you have taken.
Structure:
- Introduction: Where and when did you go? Who did you go with?
- Body: What did you do? Where did you stay? What did you see?
- Conclusion: How did you feel? What will you remember?
Use relative pronouns to connect your ideas:
- We stayed at a hotel which/that was near the beach.
- The guide who/that showed us around was very friendly.
- We visited a place where you can see beautiful views.
- The day when we left was sad.
