Pre-listening: What do you know about Son Doong cave in Vietnam?

Listen to a passage about Son Doong cave and answer the questions.

Listening passage:

Son Doong cave is located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh province, Vietnam. It was discovered by a local man named Ho Khanh in 1990, but it wasn't explored until 2009. Son Doong is the largest cave in the world. It is over 5 kilometres long, 200 metres high, and 150 metres wide. The cave has its own jungle, river, and climate. Inside, there are giant stalactites and stalagmites that are millions of years old. Also, a huge skylight allows sunlight to enter, creating stunning green scenery. Visitors can take a guided tour, but only a limited number of people are allowed each year. The tour costs about $3,000 per person and lasts for four days. Son Doong is truly one of the most amazing natural wonders in the world.

Visitors can take boat cruises, kayak around the islands, and explore magnificent caves. The sunset over the bay is truly breathtaking. Ha Long Bay was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. I think everyone should visit this amazing place at least once in their lifetime.
