11. Reported Yes/No Questions
Cấu trúc: S + asked (+ O) + if/whether + S + V (lùi thì)

| "Do you like mountains?" | He asked if I liked mountains. |
| "Is it a volcano?" | She asked if it was a volcano. |
| "Can you swim?" | He asked if I could swim. |
| "Will you go there?" | She asked if I would go there. |
| "Did you visit the cave?" | He asked if I had visited the cave. |
22. Important Notes
- Không đảo ngữ: Direct: "Do you like it?" → Reported: He asked if I liked it. (KHÔNG: if did I like)
- If và Whether: có thể dùng thay thế cho nhau
- Lùi thì: Hiện tại → Quá khứ, Quá khứ → Quá khứ hoàn thành
- Thay đổi đại từ & trạng từ: you → I/he/she, here → there, now → then
