11. Verbs followed by to-infinitive (Động từ đi kèm to-V)
Các động từ thường thể hiện ý định, mong muốn, quyết định, lời hứa trong tương lai:
decide, plan, want, agree, promise, hope, refuse, offer, learn, expect, choose + to V
Ex: They decided to move from a thatched house to a modern apartment.
Ex: Young people hope to preserve traditional customs.
22. Verbs followed by V-ing (Động từ đi kèm V-ing / Danh động từ)
Các động từ thể hiện sở thích, sự tránh né, gợi ý, xem xét:
enjoy, fancy, mind, avoid, consider, suggest, admit, deny, practice, finish, postpone + V-ing
Ex: Many elderly people enjoy living in peaceful countryside villages.
Ex: We should avoid wasting food during family meals.
