Past Continuous (Quá khứ tiếp diễn):

• S + was/were + V-ing
• Hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm cụ thể trong quá khứ
• Hai hành động song song: While + past continuous, past continuous
• Hành động xen vào: Past continuous + when + past simple

Wish + Past Simple (Ước trong hiện tại):

• S + wish(es) + S + V (past simple)
• be → were (tất cả ngôi)
• can → could
• Dùng để ước điều không có thật ở hiện tại
