SPECIAL PRODUCTS IN SOME AREAS
Viet Nam has many traditional craft villages. Each village produces special products. For example, Bat Trang village in Ha Noi is famous for pottery. Artisans there make beautiful vases, bowls, and teacups from clay. The skills are handed down from generation to generation.
In the south, Ben Tre is known for coconut candy and handicrafts made from coconut leaves. Visitors can watch how to make coconut candy and enjoy its sweet flavour.
Ha Tay (now part of Ha Noi) is famous for silk weaving. Van Phuc silk village produces high-quality silk products. Many tourists come here to buy scarves, dresses, and ties.
In the central region, Hoi An is well-known for its tailor shops and lanterns. The lanterns are made with colourful silk and bamboo frames. They light up the ancient town every night.

The broth is simmered for hours with bones and spices like cinnamon and star anise. Phở is special because it represents Vietnamese cuisine and culture. If you visit Ha Noi, you should try a bowl of Phở at a local shop.
