1Project Instructions
Work in groups. Interview some people about your community and present your findings.
Step 1: Prepare interview questions
- What do you like about our community?
- What facilities are there in our community?
- Who are the community helpers? What do they do?
- What traditional products or specialities does our area have?
- What can we do to improve our community?
Step 2: Interview
- Interview 2-3 people (neighbours, family members, local shopkeepers)
- Take notes of their answers

2Sample Project: My Community
What is good about my community?
I live in a small town in Ha Noi's suburb. Our community has many good things. First, there are good facilities including a park, a swimming pool, and a library. Children can play sports and read books there.
Second, the people in my community are very friendly. The police officer keeps our streets safe, and the garbage collectors keep the town clean. Our neighbours help each other and get on well with each other.
Third, my town is famous for traditional pottery. Many tourists visit our craft village to buy beautiful vases and bowls. The skills have been handed down for many generations.
I love my community because it is peaceful, clean, and friendly. Everyone knows each other and is willing to help. I am proud to live here.
