Conversation between Mai and Nam about Tet
Mai: Nam, can you tell me about Tet? I want to describe it to my foreign friend.
Nam: Sure! Tet, or Lunar New Year, is the most important festival in Vietnam.
Mai: When is it held?
Nam: It's held in late January or early February. It lasts for about 7 days.
Mai: What do people do during Tet?
Nam: People celebrate by decorating their houses, visiting relatives, and giving lucky money to children.
Mai: Are there any special foods?
Nam: Yes! There is banh chung, a traditional rice cake. People also watch fireworks on New Year's Eve.
Mai: It sounds wonderful! I love the festive atmosphere during Tet.
