33. Listening Passage: A Health Talk
A Talk About Healthy Living
Read the transcript of a health talk. In a real listening test, you would hear this spoken.
Speaker (Nurse): Good morning, everyone. Today I'm going to talk about how to stay healthy. Let me share some important tips with you.
First, let's talk about breakfast. Many teenagers skip breakfast because they are in a hurry. This is a big mistake! Breakfast gives you energy for the whole morning. You should eat a healthy breakfast every day, such as bread, eggs, milk, or cereal.
Next, let's discuss exercise. You should do at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. This doesn't have to be boring. You can play football, ride a bike, dance, or even walk to school. Find an activity you enjoy!
Now, about screen time. Many young people spend too much time on phones and computers. You shouldn't spend more than 2 hours a day on screens for entertainment. Instead, go outside and play with your friends.
Finally, remember to drink milk. Milk is rich in calcium, which helps your bones grow strong. You should drink 2 to 3 glasses of milk every day.
Thank you for listening. Does anyone have any questions?
