A Great Sports Day at School

Last Saturday, my school had a Sports Day. All students were very excited. The weather was beautiful - sunny and warm.

In the morning, we played different sports. My class played football against Class 6A. The match started at 8 AM. I scored the first goal, and my teammates scored two more goals. We won the match 3-1! Everyone cheered loudly.

After the football match, I watched the badminton competition. My friend Lan played very well. She won first place. She was very happy. I also watched the swimming competition. Students competed in different styles: freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke.

In the afternoon, there was a basketball game. Class 6B played against Class 6C. The game was very exciting. Class 6C won by one point. The score was 42-41. It was the closest game of the day!

At the end of the day, our principal gave medals and trophies to the winners. Everyone had a wonderful time. I was tired but very happy. Sports Day was the best day of the year!
