22. Reading Passage: Television in Vietnam
Television in Vietnam
Television is very popular in Vietnam. Most families have at least one TV at home. The most popular TV channels are VTV1, VTV3, and VTV6. Each channel has different types of programs.
VTV1 is the news channel. It broadcasts news, weather forecasts, and documentaries. Many people watch VTV1 in the morning before work or school because they want to know what is happening in the world.
VTV3 is the entertainment channel. It has game shows, comedies, music shows, and reality shows. 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' and 'The Voice of Vietnam' are very popular programs on VTV3. People watch them because they are exciting and entertaining.
VTV6 is the channel for young people. It broadcasts sports programs, cartoons, and talk shows. Many teenagers watch VTV6 after school because they like the music and sports programs.
Nowadays, many people also watch TV on their phones or computers. But traditional TV is still important. TV helps us learn new things, relax, and connect with the world.
