22. Reading Passage: My Neighbourhood
My Neighbourhood - By Trang
I live in a quiet neighbourhood in the suburbs of Hanoi. My neighbourhood is convenient because there are many shops and services near my house.
On my street, there is a small supermarket. It is between a bakery and a pharmacy. My mother buys food there every day. Opposite the supermarket, there is a park. I go there with my friends every weekend. There is also a restaurant next to the park. The food there is delicious.
My school is at the end of my street. It is about 10 minutes from my house. Walking to school is good for my health. There is a bus stop in front of my school.
I think my neighbourhood is more peaceful than the city centre. It is also cleaner and safer. However, the city centre is more exciting. There are more shops, cinemas, and restaurants there.
I love my neighbourhood because it is convenient, quiet, and friendly. Everyone knows each other here.
