Tips for listening to descriptions of people:
- Listen for appearance words (tall, short, hair, eyes)
- Listen for personality words (kind, funny, friendly)
- Listen for Present Continuous verbs (is playing, is reading)
- Note the name and relationship of the person described

Hi! I'm Nam. Let me tell you about my two best friends, Minh and Hoa. They are very different.
Minh is tall and thin. He has short curly hair and a round face. He wears glasses. Minh is very clever and funny. He loves telling jokes. Right now, he is playing basketball in the school yard.
Hoa is short and slim. She has long straight black hair and an oval face. She has big brown eyes. Hoa is kind and hard-working. She always helps me with my studies. At the moment, she is reading a book in the library.
Although Minh and Hoa are different, they are both great friends. I am lucky to have them!
