22. Reading Passage: Nguyen Hue Secondary School
Nguyen Hue Secondary School
Nguyen Hue Secondary School is in the centre of the city. It is one of the biggest schools in the area. The school has three buildings and a large playground. There are 45 classrooms, a library, a computer room, and a modern gym.
The school has 1,500 students and 80 teachers. Students wear white shirts and blue trousers as their uniform. They study many subjects: English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Art, Music, and PE.
The school day starts at 7:00 a.m. and finishes at 11:30 a.m. Students have a 20-minute break at 9:00 a.m. During break time, they play games, read books, or talk with friends.
'I love my school very much,' says Minh, a grade 6 student. 'The teachers are kind and the lessons are interesting. My favourite subject is Science because we do many experiments.'
