11. Present Simple with Ordinary Verbs
A. Present Simple Tense (Thì hiện tại đơn - Động từ thường)
1. Usage (Cách dùng):
- Diễn tả thói quen, hành động lặp đi lặp lại
- Diễn tả sự thật hiển nhiên
- Diễn tả lịch trình, thời gian biểu
2. Structure (Cấu trúc):
Khẳng định: S + V(s/es)
- I/You/We/They + V (nguyên mẫu)
- He/She/It + V-s/es
Phủ định: S + do/does + not + V
- I/You/We/They + don't + V
- He/She/It + doesn't + V
Nghi vấn: Do/Does + S + V?
- Do + I/you/we/they + V?
- Does + he/she/it + V?
3. Spelling rules (Cách thêm s/es):
- Thêm 's': hầu hết các động từ (play → plays, like → likes)
- Thêm 'es': động từ kết thúc bằng -s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o (go → goes, watch → watches)
- Đổi 'y' thành 'ies': động từ kết thúc bằng phụ âm + y (study → studies, fly → flies)

B. Động từ 'to be' (am/is/are)
1. Structure:
Khẳng định:
- I + am (I'm)
- He/She/It + is ('s)
- You/We/They + are ('re)
Phủ định:
- I am not (I'm not)
- He/She/It + is not (isn't)
- You/We/They + are not (aren't)
Nghi vấn: Am/Is/Are + S?
Examples:
- I am a student at Nguyen Hue School.
- She is my English teacher.
- We are in the same class.
- Are you in grade 6?
- He isn't late for school.
