Write a CV (150–180 words) for a fictional student applying to assist at a school event.

Example Upper Secondary School, Grade 12. Relevant activities include the English club and the student reading group.

Experience

Class Book Exchange Volunteer, March–May 2026

Organised donated books by category, maintained a borrowing list and answered classmates’ questions. Worked with two other volunteers to prepare a short introduction for new participants.

English Club Presentation Team, April 2026

Helped prepare slides, checked the order of speakers and collected feedback after a practice event. Used feedback to make instructions clearer.

Skills

Can use basic word-processing and spreadsheet tools. Comfortable giving simple directions in English. Able to follow a checklist, arrive on time and ask for clarification when instructions are unclear.

Availability

Available for agreed school events on Saturday mornings. Will confirm duties and the timetable with the organiser in advance.
