Example 1: Describing a Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important celebrations in Vietnam. It takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. During this festival, children carry colorful lanterns and families gather to admire the full moon.
Example 2: Expressing Opinion
I think cultural diversity is very important because it helps us learn from each other and appreciate different perspectives. In my opinion, we should celebrate our differences.
Example 3: Comparing Cultures
Vietnamese culture is quite different from Western culture. For example, we show respect to elders by using formal language, while in Western countries, people are more casual.
Example 4: Sharing Experience
When I first visited Japan, I experienced culture shock. Everything was so different - the food, the language, and the customs. However, I gradually adapted and learned to appreciate their culture.
Example 5: Giving Recommendations
If you want to overcome culture shock, I recommend learning about the new culture before you go. You should also keep an open mind and be willing to try new things.
