A school nature club visits a protected area to learn how an ecosystem works. The students observe from an approved path and record plants, insects and birds without collecting them. Their guide explains that a habitat provides more than a place to stand: organisms need food, water, shelter and suitable conditions. Back at school, the group draws a simple food chain using only relationships they have checked. They also discuss what their short visit cannot show. A species not seen that morning may still live in the area. The club therefore avoids claiming that its list includes every species. Its final poster combines observations, reliable background information and suggestions for reducing disturbance. The project teaches careful observation as well as respect for biodiversity.
